Dr. Leigh was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Bachelor of Education from the University of Regina. She then attended Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon and completed the 4 year program in 3 years to become a Doctor of Chiropractic in December 2001. She works with patients of all ages, but she particularly loves caring for little ones, mothers to be, and new moms. Using various techniques including Activator, drop table, myofascial release and trigger point therapies, joint manipulation and mobilization, she provides effective evidence-based care. She frequently volunteers as an examiner with the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board.
Outside of work, Leigh enjoys her family and their sporting activities, curling, golfing, weight lifting, watching movies, and travelling.
Dr. Ryan Block was raised on a farm outside of Olds Alberta and attended the University of Alberta playing with the Golden Bears football team to complete his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. His studies lead him to Iowa where he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he was on scholarship for rugby and graduated as Valedictorian. One of his passions is to restore proper biomechanical functioning through traditional chiropractic adjustments, exercise, and soft tissue therapies.
Dr. Ryan Block has gone through intensive post-graduate training with over 220 hours of supervised instruction through the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre in Ontario, the only accredited animal chiropractic school in Canada. Currently, Dr. Ryan Block is a certified animal chiropractor (CAC) offering chiropractic treatment for both dogs and horses.
In his spare time you can find Ryan enjoying the great outdoors with his wife, dogs, and horses.
Dr. Jakubowski is certified in and utilizes Active Release Technique® (ART) along with chiropractic to treat his patients. With his knowledge of strength and conditioning, he also provides individuals with active care plans to help improve quality of life.
Dr. Braden was raised in Leduc, Alberta and attended MacEwan University where he played on a hockey scholarship with the team winning the ACAC championship. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology then attended the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. He graduated Summa cum laude while also completing his Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning through Logan University.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
Ritzail was born and raised in a small city in the Philippines. Her family was very active and enjoyed camping, long car trips, and having BBQ's with family and friends. She attended nursing college back home and also worked in Dubai for many years before moving to Canada in 2013. In Edmonton at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy she earned her 2200 hours of Remedial Massage Therapy Diploma and is an active member in good standing with MTAA (Massage Therapists Association of Alberta). Her massage treatments are personalized to each patient's unique needs, employing a variety of modalities including Swedish massage, myofascial release, Trigger Point therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hydrotherapy, Joint mobilizations, Remedial exercises, and Fire cupping/regular cupping. Ritzail's mission is to provide therapeutic massage with professionalism and competence in an effort to cultivate the wellness of both the patient and her self. Her family proudly resides in Leduc. When she is not in the clinic, Ritzail has 5 children who keep her very busy with their own extracurricular activities. They also love to travel and explore new places to visit. She is eager to share her passions with others, continuing to learn and build on her experiences. She looks forward to meeting you!
McKenzie was born and raised in rural Alberta, and has been living in Leduc for the last two years. Prior to Leduc, she lived in Beaumont while she attended Makami College where she completed her 3000 hour program to become an RMT. McKenzie Selway has been a practicing RMT for over three years. She is focused and dedicated to promoting patient health and wellness through effective massage techniques. She is compassionate as well as driven when it comes to creating an effective treatment for all her patients . Mckenzie can help you establish clear goals and ways to further reduce your pain, after injuries, accidents or just day to day stress and tension. Mckenzie specializes in deep tissue massage along with, relaxation, trigger point work and cupping. When not helping patients, her hobbies include working out, spending time with her pets and going to concerts to listen to the classic rock music we all know and love.
Ev has been a part of our clinic for over 10 years. She is the friendly voice on the telephone and helps the office run smoothly. She will answer all your questions and find a time that works for you to book an appointment with any of our doctors or massage therapists.
