If you are new to Leduc Chiropractic Clinic, we’d like you to understand who we are, what we do and why we do it. Leduc Chiropractic Clinic has been operating in Leduc since 1976. We are very proud of our clinic's reputation and our abilities as evidence based health care providers. We want to make sure your health needs are met and respected. Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. Our goal is to make you feel at home. We hope you reap the benefits of chiropractic care and that it supports your goal of making positive changes to your health and life.
Your first appointment will take up to 60 minutes.
Upon entrance to our clinic you will find yourself warmly greeted by our front office staff. One of our experienced doctors will then conduct a comprehensive assessment, including:
In order to save time, we ask that you complete the initial intake and insurance forms online with your Leduc Chiropractic Clinic Profile on our booking site.
Please include your Alberta Health Care number and medical contact information, as well as information pertaining to any previous imaging reports.
Your second appointment will take about 15 minutes. During this visit, the doctor will evaluate your X-ray findings (if X-rays were necessary) and discuss any changes in your condition as a result of your first treatment. After this review your will receive your second chiropractic treatment. Specific home exercises and stretches may also be recommended.
Once the initial diagnostic work is completed, regular office visits usually take 10-15 minutes. After your pain and inflammation is reduced and/or your musculoskeletal condition has been corrected and stabilized, you and the doctor will discuss the maintenance care that best fits your needs.
Leduc Chiropractic Clinic prides itself on making sure that our patients are well-informed about their health care options. Contact us today for a convenient appointment time.
The patient information we ask for is limited to that which is fundamental to patient care and to the clinic’s day-to-day operations. Your health information is required to enable us to provide you with appropriate health care and is protected by the Alberta Health Information Act. We ask for your email address and cell phone number to facilitate scheduling and appointment reminders, and to help you avoid cancellation fees for missed appointments. Access to your health information is strictly limited to your doctor and will not be shared without your express consent. We will not solicit you without your consent. Add an answer to this item.
You are reserving the doctor’s time for your exclusive use. As a new patient, we ask for your credit card information to hold your 1 hour appointment time. Your card will only be charged if you do not show for your appointment or if you cancel without providing a minimum 24 hours notice. If you call us to reschedule, charges will not be incurred.
The services, consultations, treatments and supplements offered by chiropractic doctors are not covered by Alberta Health Care. Some private insurance companies may cover portions of your visit with a chiropractor. We encourage everyone to check with their plan first and see what is covered and whether their insurance provider will accept direct billing. Every plan is different. We can direct bill your insurance company if your plan covers the service and the insurance company allows direct billing. We can direct bill to the majority of insurance providers in these circumstances.
If your services are not covered by your health plan, we accept Visa, MC, cash, and debit. Cheques are accepted but if they are dishonoured, the patient will be charged the NSF fee.
At Leduc Chiropractic Clinic, patient care is our top priority. Part of caring for patients is to provide a sanitary environment and ensure that they are not needlessly made vulnerable to bacteria and other environmental exposures that can lead to infection and disease. You would be amazed at the number and amount of harmful substances that can accumulate on the soles of your shoes in the course of everyday living. Even walking through such ordinary places as grocery stores, hair salons, parking lots and sidewalks presents ample opportunity for your shoes to pick up harmful germs and potentially harmful environmental elements.
In order to protect our patients, we ask that you remove your shoes during your visit to our clinic. For patients who are uncomfortable with removing their shoes, please bring a clean pair of socks to wear while in our clinic.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping Leduc Chiropractic Clinic a safe environment for all.
Service animals are always welcome!
