Massage Therapy
Various pressures of therapeutic massage as well as cupping are available in our clinic. Massage therapy complements chiropractic care and is beneficial for our overall physical and mental health and well being. Massage can prevent injuries by releasing tension and correcting improper muscle firing to alleviate pain and correct imbalances in the body. Through a variety of techniques overactive or injured muscles are encouraged to heal and function properly. This allows the musculoskeletal and other body systems to operate optimally. Why are Chiropractic AND Massage Therapy offered together?
Back pain, muscle tension and spinal dysfunction are very common conditions that a vast majority of individuals suffer from. Massage therapy is effective for dealing with muscles and soft tissues of the spine. Chiropractic work is effective in treating misaligned spinal joints and nerves to relieve pain and improve function. We are happy to offer both massage therapy and chiropractic services with a variety of treatments in both therapies to help relieve patients who experience sore muscles and misalignments. We believe that combining both therapies will yield the most beneficial results.
Custom Prescription Orthotics
Orthotics are devices worn in your shoes that provide correction and assistance to your feet, helping them function in a more efficient manner. Pressure points, improper rotation of the foot, painful muscle strain, and abnormal forces on the legs, hips and spine are eliminated because orthotics enable your feet to function properly.
Your chiropractor will evaluate the way you walk (gait analysis) and determine if you are a candidate for prescription foot orthotics. The devices are always custom made using 3D scanning technology.
