Chiropractors diagnose and treat problems of the musculoskeletal system with various types of therapies including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and/or active muscle release and provide manual adjustments to the involved joints. Activator, pelvic blocking, and drop table methods are treatment options if spinal adjusting is not indicated or preferred. We work with our patients to determine the best methods of care and work within their level of comfort. #FeeyourBEST!
Therapeutic and relaxation massage are available in our clinic. Massage therapy is an integral part of personal care, mental health, injury prevention and your overall health and wellbeing. Massage is the manipulation of the muscles and fascia (connective tissue) using the hands and other tools to release tension and correct improper muscle firing to alleviate pain and correct imbalances in the body. Using a variety of techniques, such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, overactive or injured muscles are encouraged to heal and function properly to allow the musculoskeletal and other body systems to operate optimally. Regular massage creates better, more effective results with each consecutive session.
Back pain, muscle tension and spinal dysfunction are very common conditions that a vast majority of individuals suffer from. Massage therapy is effective for dealing with muscles and soft tissues of the spine. Chiropractic work is effective in treating misaligned spinal joints and nerves to relieve pain and improve function. We are happy to offer both massage therapy and chiropractic services with a variety of treatments in both therapies to help relieve patients who experience sore muscles and misalignments. We believe that combining both therapies will yield the most beneficial results.
Orthotics are devices worn in your shoes that provide correction and assistance to your feet, helping them function in a more efficient manner. Pressure points, improper rotation of the foot, painful muscle strain, and abnormal forces on the legs, hips and spine are eliminated because orthotics enable your feet to function properly.
Your chiropractor will evaluate the way you walk (gait analysis) and determine if you are a candidate for prescription foot orthotics. The devices are always custom made using 3D scanning technology.
Animal Chiropractic is an effective treatment
to help improve an animal's movement and function, reduce pain, prevent injuries and contribute to overall performance, behaviour and quality of life.
While Animal Chiropractic is not a replacement for traditional veterinary medicine it can be used in conjunction for a comprehensive approach
to the well being of your pet.
Dr. Ryan Block, our Certified Animal Chiropractor(CAC), uses specific spinal manipulation adjustments to restore restricted ranges of motion and balance,
reduce muscle tension, and ultimately
make your pet more comfortable.
If you’ve noticed deterioration in your pet’s behaviour, mobility, performance, or pain threshold,
chiropractic treatments may help.
